[The following arrives as a written letter to the Priest Amanda to wherever-she-lives-in-Dyster. It slips into her home quite quietly no less than an hour after these exchanges on the RSDOS network.]
To the Fog Priest, Amanda,
First, it is with relief that I welcome you back to the peninsula. I am encouraged by Madame Fog's success in returning Her Most Loyal to good form.
Second, I write to you to submit my personal assurances that I will be seeing to Monseigneur King-of-the-Gods' well-being once the snake and her louts have finished their play. You are welcome to see me and speak on it.
Third, the reasons he found himself dipped in hot water was because he chose to apply himself to the purposes of restoring Madame Fog to Her full power. It is with sincere regret that I inform you Elias and his band of insurgents have conducted some effective measures against Her. I was only recently returned to the peninsula two months past, and witnessed one of these grave transgressions, and exacted just recourse for it, myself. It is a turbulent time. We must be smart about the moves we choose to make.
Fourth, I am intent on collaborating with like-minded Fog followers of rank to strategize as one effort. I have grown sick to death of disagreement, disorganization, and infighting amongst us. If we are to annihilate that conniving, miscreant excuse for a boy-god, we must coordinate our strikes for the fullest effect. It is my hope that you will choose to sit alongside us once I have assembled the players for our table, including M. Aunamee, who has already agreed to join us.
In the meanwhile, let the riffraff buy into the idea that we are still at one another's throats. The better the act, the less likely they shall see what is dawning on the horizon.
Do not use network communications regarding this affair unless you speak in obtuse, oblique terms. You may reach me at my Dyster home just off the square, or you may phone me at my office, [NUMBER HERE]. I await your consideration and swift response.
Best regards, Javert Warden of La Forteresse Priest in the Service of the Fog On the Fifth of September
